Conflict-Sensitive Programming

What material is available in addition?

The documents presented on this page are first of all for "Do No Harm" trainers. Learning how to become such an expert usually involves a ten-days intensive training, at the end of which particpants will be able to facilitate a "Do No Harm" workshop by themselves. This page offers downloads of various material that trainers can use in their workshops and in their practical accompaniment processes at field level in order to achieve a good understanding of "Do No Harm".

For Trainers:
Material for Various Training Purposes

Trainers Manual

This Trainers Manual contains the basic material used in a Training of Trainers. The manual (which was developed by CDA in 2004) contains background information about the "Do No Harm" approach, presents various models for planning a workshop, explains the various modules of a "Do No Harm" workshop and how to teach them effectively, and makes plenty of teaching material available.

Based on our extensive experience in Africa, we are currently working on an adapted version for future trainers in that continent.
